Oh gosh! I am so excited to be sharing this project with you. This deeply personal, caring and special project. A project for my self-sabotage coach Ashley Beaudin. A project that fills my intense love for the colour pink and creative freedom!
This Infinite Hearts quilt was a labour of love for Ashley and I enjoyed every second of creating it for her.
I began working with Ashley last year though I first met her when she organized the Imperfect Boss Camp in 2019. As soon as I met her, I was hooked on her way of seeing life and her gentle and compassionate approach to teaching. With her guidance, I have been able to gain control of my anxiety and set boundaries with people in my life. She’s also intensely hilarious and also a serious pink lover like me too!
After I shared my Star Wars Baby Quilt on Instagram, Ashley messaged me and said she wanted a quilt from me someday which snowballed into immediately planning one! I got her searching for the perfect quilt pattern and we landed on the Infinite Hearts Quilt pattern by Quilty Love.
It was a fabulous pattern to piece together and the rows came together rather quickly! We opted to do the twin size and it turned out to be the perfect size for cozying up on the couch with! As you can tell, Ashley is seriously in love with it too!
When I make quilts, I always over-cut because you just never know when something doesn’t go quite right! Because of that, I had enough bits left over to make Ashley’s cat Theo a little mini quilt! I used some leftover binding from the Star Wars Baby Quilt for Theos and some soft cozy flannel for the backing so it doesn’t slide away when he sits on it!
Ashley isn’t the only one that loves her quilt! You can often find Theo in her Instagram stories or on a zoom call, cozied up on her quilt. It’s as if he knows the love that went into creating it!
When it came to choosing the backing fabric, we knew it had to be special too! This beautiful Elizabeth Olsen print was exactly what we needed. The words and themes on this fabric were made for Ashley’s work and went beautifully with the colour scheme for the quilt.
While we did make the twin size, it’s a large twin at 67″ by 92″ appx., and fits beautifully on Ashley’s bed! She has so many options for how she curls up with this beauty and knows that no matter what, she is surrounded by love.

I’m so thrilled with how this quilt came together and the best part? I bought so much extra fabric, I have loads to make myself a super pink quilt too! Now I just have to find some time to make it!
